2002 Trails for the Ancients |
A joint project of Petr and Dana Lightsey. The main inspiration for this peaceful and yet inquisitive album comes from three North American sacred spaces: Pawnee Buttes, Mesa Verde, and Devil's Tower. This is a CD which you can listen to attentively, put it on as you meditate, or use it as a background ambient music. Sit down comfortably in your chair, close your eyes, and enter the ancient worlds through the Archway... |

2001 Perfect Strangers: Greetings from Technopoly |
This work is an imaginary confession of, in the words of Albert Camus, the naked one facing the Absurd. The main theme is peculiarity of life, when perceived from a certain angle. This concept album offers stories musically dressed up in strange suits and coats. Death, friendship, trust, relationships and other issues are explored bluntly and with a dose of humor. |

Walking with microphones in the places where they lived or visited, the members of CT-Collective collected sounds, which later they turned into music in their studios. While the origin of sounds is limited strictly to field recordings, the samples then could be manipulated as desired to create rhythms, melodies and harmonies. On this CD you can hear music from Germany, Italy, USA, Sweden, Japan, Mexico, United Kingdom, and the Czech Republic. Petr's track features Prague. |

Songs written by Petr and Orianna Webb. It contains lyrical songs as well as experimental compositions, such as Between Tuning, which contains a minimalist piece inserted between the tuning of a large orchestra. Both electric and acoustic guitars are supplemented by repetition of delays that help creating a monotonous meditative mood. |

Live performance in Esprit Gallery, Plzen. The band Žluté Samoa was based on interaction of acoustic guitar and harmonium, supported by flute, percussive and other instruments. Simple and poetic songs were performed to create a peaceful atmosphere of silence, dreaming and ease, but also to create a feeling of respect for the Great Mystery of life (symbolized by the drawing on the cover). |
